4 berth motorhome terms and conditions
DAILY HIRE RATES are
calculated on each calendar day, not a 24 hour day. Minimum hire
period of 7 days (Xmas & New Year minimum 21 days). Unlimited km and
GST Tax included. Insurance extra.
VISA & MASTERCARD are accepted for the deposit, hire fees and
bond. A deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking.
PAYMENT The balance of the payment for the hire and
additional reservations (e.g. ferry, etc.) is due 30 days before
pickup, by credit card.
BOND of $2,000 is required on pickup payable by credit card.
LDW INSURANCE is available at extra cost, which reduces the
insurance excess to $500
DRIVING LICENCE National of Australia, South Africa, USA,
Canada, and Europe, or an international drivers' licence is
required. 2 named drivers maximum per vehicle.
MINIMUM AGE of all drivers is 21 years and 3 years driving
experience.
INSURANCE Vehicle and third party insurance is mandatory at
the rate listed under the 2006-2007 tariffs. The hirer/driver is
responsible for the first $2,000 of all claims, (windscreen and
tyres are not covered). The windscreen can be covered for an extra
$100.
DEPOTS are at Auckland, Christchurch and Nelson. Picton,
Blenheim and Greymouth on request.
ONE WAY and RETURN hires are accepted, no charges between
depots. Relocation fees are payable for other places or if the
drop-off depot is changed during the hire.
FREE TRANSFERS between airport and depots during business
hours for bookings of 21 days or more. Arrival flight details and
contact address are required.
PICKUPS from 8 am and drop-offs until 5.00 pm
LATE RETURNS will be charged at double daily rates plus
costs.
FUEL tank will be full on pickup and has to be returned full.
Drop-off refill charged to hirer.
CANCELLATIONS Where bookings are cancelled within 30 days of
the pickup date or if the client does not arrive to collect the
vehicle, no refunds will be paid.
Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the reservation
date will be refunded, less a $200 administration fee.
REFUNDS will not be paid for voluntary downgrade of a vehicle
or unused hire days.
SUPPLY We reserve the right to substitute a comparable
campervan if the reserved campervan is not available. This shall not
constitute a breach of contract and does not entitle the hirer to
any form of refund. Should a substitute not be available, our
liability is limited to a full refund of monies received by Kiwi
Campervans.
BOND is held subject to the terms and conditions of the
contract, e.g. the safe return of the vehicle in an undamaged,
complete and reasonable clean condition. Toilet and waste water tank
must be emptied prior to return of the vehicle or an additional
cleaning fee of $300 will apply.
NO SMOKING applies to all Kiwi Campervans' vehicles. If
special cleaning is required, an extra fee will apply.
MECHANICAL FAILURE Complete lost days will be refunded. No
liability is accepted for alternative arrangements by customers.
PROBLEMS shall be reported
immediately for prompt attention, retrospective claims can not be
recognized.
NOTE
Refunds will be handled by the Nelson office. Specifications may
vary between individual vehicles. No refunds will be given for
unused hirage. The hires are subject to the terms and conditions of
the rental contract. All rights are reserved to refuse any hire
under any circumstance. Rates and terms may change without notice.
These terms and conditions of July 2006 supersede all previous.
